Maurizia's expertise is focused on Corporate Governance Advising and Executive Search.
In 1984 She founded Athena, an Executive Search and Training Company, where she headed the Executive Search practice for 10 years and also represented World Search Group, an international network of executive search firms.
From 1994 to 2001 she was Senior Director in Spencer Stuart Italy, Member of the Partner Nomination Committee and of the Quality Committee; She was involved in the recruitment of Executives and Board Members in the Healthcare, Media and Telecommunications industries.
In 2001 Maurizia Iachino cofounded GOVERNANCE Consulting, a start up created to face the challenges of corporate governance issues, as Partner and Head of board practice activities (composition of board of directors and advisory boards, CEO and top management search, board performance reviews).
In 2004, she was one of the founders of Nedcommunity, the first Italian association of Non Executive Directors of which she is currently a member of the Scientific Committee.
In 2007 she joined Key2People as a Partner to develop its Governance Practice.
She is a Director of Natuzzi Spa (NYSE Listed Company)and of Fondazione Teatro Parenti(cultural foundation)and in addition has been President of Save The Children Italy since 2001.
She writes for various financial publications.
After graduating in philosophy in 1972, she specialized in psychology and then trained as a psychoanalyst.
She is married and has three children.
